Business name, your name, email address, trade, the areas you work in, your plan and whether you've paid. We use these to send your lists, homeowner jobs and payment links. The lawful basis is our contract with you. We keep payment records for six years for tax, and the rest for 12 months after you stop.
Your name, email, phone number if you give it, postcode, the job details and any planning reference. We pass these to up to three subscribing firms per trade you choose, so they can quote. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any of our emails. We delete your job after 180 days.
Our lists include the site address and description of planning applications, which the council publishes. We never include applicants' names, and we don't publish addresses on this website. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest, and that of local firms, in offering services for building work, using information that is already public. We tell firms to make contact only by letter, in person or through the agent, and to stop if asked. If you'd like your address left out of our lists, email us and we'll remove it.
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the site secure.
Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires. We never sell personal information.
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email us and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
